- An adhesive for bonding roofing felt to concrete, metal, timber and similar surfaces and for bonding successive layers of roofing felt
- As a lap sealant when nailing felt to wooden roofs
- 1.0 – 1.5 m²/litre depending on substrate and ambient temperature (as gritting adhesive) 0.7 m²/litre for 12 mm and 1.0 m²/litre for 3 mm chippings
